Salesforce: Our participation in CODE_n at CeBIT

03/05/2014  |  CODE_n14 Startup CONTEST, Corporate Innovation, Partner

This year salesforce will not only be at CeBIT in Hall 4, but also alongside CODE_n in Hall 16 (Stand D30_65). As the marketing representative responsible for startups and SMEs, I’m really looking forward to it. The whole of Hall 16 will be transformed into a large-scale artistic composition featuring 50 startups. So what exactly are we planning?

Strategic partner to startup companies

In collaboration with other leading CODE_n partners such as Google, Continental and Dassault Systèmes, we will be presenting ourselves as a strategic partner to startups and growth-oriented SMEs. This is because our solutions are scalable. In other words, they grow as companies grow. Also, the spirit of a startup still runs through our veins at salesforce.com. We’ve maintained the initial “youth” and “vitality” of a company shooting out of the starting blocks – even if we’ve already been on the market for 15 years and could already be considered “long in the tooth” in the cloud business. Maybe it’s because our business roots are firmly in the ground in Silicon Valley, where we are surrounded every day of the week by countless startups. But in a nutshell: salesforce.com is a perfect fit with CODE_n and the startup hall at CeBIT.

What do we have to offer?

Our booth comes under the banner of “your Business” – and is broken down into three areas:

Code your business

In this area, we offer developers a peek into the potential offered by our platform. If you’e looking for a program brimming with variety, talks, demos and hands-on sessions, then this is the place to be. We are on hand to provide top-line information and enter into detailed discussion.

We will demonstrate how it’s possible to shift from a concept to a finished application in the shortest possible timeframe – and how this application can be used to reach out to over 100,000 potential international customers in one fell swoop.

Run your business

One of the underlying principles at salesforce.com is how to make the administration of sales leads, contacts and clients as simple as buying a book on Amazon. Visitors will also be given an opportunity to talk to us and discover how to apply this concept  to the specific situation faced by their company, partly also thanks to demos at our booth.

Is that it?

No, definitely not. We will also be up on the stage, or to be more accurate, our clients will be up there with us. Wednesday afternoon (2:30 p.m.) we will be talking to the startup g|predictive, who is also our software partner, and discussing its lead scoring solution. The aim will be to demonstrate how reliably their approach can predict which leads will become customers. Thursday morning (11:30 a.m.) the agency brandbelow will be explaining how a small enterprise without its own programming department can exploit the full potential of our platform and inspire both its customers and its employees. Allow us to inspire you, join us in the world of salesforce.com and travel to the future before your customers get there, so you can be there to greet them when they arrive. Welcome to the Internet of Customers. Welcome Salesforce at CODE_n. Reserve your ticket today and come visit us at CeBIT.

Salesforce.com is also appearing at CeBIT 2014 as part of CODE_n in Hall 16. Our colleague Harald Labes provides an overview of the fascinating things awaiting visitors to CODE_n.
