Over the next few weeks, we will be highlighting some of our 65 experts from various fields, starting now!

Entrepreneuer Armin Pohl, who has already won an Emmy Award for his company’s visual effects in Game of Thrones, usually counts creating digital worlds for Mercedes Benz to his every day work tasks as CEO of Mackevision. During his keynote, he will take you into the colourful world of 3D-visualizations and digital effects and explain how these pictures that are being created change our perception of reality.

Neuro, Science, Entertainment – no one knows better how to link these three elements, than Dr. Henning Beck. As experienced neuroscientist and published author he usually supports business to use brain-based approaches in order to develop innovative and efficient workflows. Hannes Sjoblad is co-founder of the Sweden-based biohacker network Bionyfiken – and as a bodyhacker himself, he does not step back from experimenting with technology on his own body. That’s why we’re very excited to bring him live on stage to talk about the connected body and how to make humans a part of the Internet of Things.

Executive Vice President of Axel Springer – Christoph Keese – is leading one of Europe’s largest publishing group and knows that transforming a traditional publishing company into a digital one is not an easy task. Yet, Axel Springer is industry leader in digitalization. Exploring investment opportunities, Christoph Keese has spent 6 months in Palo Alto and will bring us a Report from Silicon Valley to Karlsruhe.

Ravi Kurani joined Earlybird in 2016 and is currently an Associate at the Munich office. Prior to that, he was a management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group, where he mainly worked in the financial services and provate equity industry. He’s an absolute expert in the world of finance and will join us for two sessions, discussing “How FinTech can work with Investors” and how startups can “Convince a VC“.
